Former Students of "Darchei Noam" in Lodz Prepare a Secular Gathering

As the editors of "The Yiddish Word" have imagined, our friend from Chicago R' Yedidi Lipman, during his last visit to Eretz Yisroel, created there a student federation "Darchei-Noam" (a school and rabbinical college of R' Gershon Eli Liss) of Lodz. A number of the founders were taken with the well-known educator of the "Darchei Noam" Hg"r Godol Eyzner, who today is the spiritual director of the "Yeshiva Sidushi Hri"m", and moreover he has given his warm greeting.

The student federation "Darchei Noam" plan will soon call up a secular "gathering" in Eretz Yisroel, and in order that the organization would produce a provisional committee that consist of the following former students:

R' Yosef Dzhilavski (Khulun); R' Yakov Hersh (Sidney); R' Avraham Vendriger (Jerusalem); R' Shlomo Zablodovits (Kisri'); R' Yedidi Lipman (Chicago); R' Yekhiel Ben-Tsion Fishof (New York); R' Yosef Friedenson (New York); R' Aaron Framer (Tel Aviv); R' Efrim Klein (Brooklyn); R' Meir Kirshtein (Bnei Brak); R' Natanel Radziner (Tel Aviv); R' Avigdor Stein (Tel Aviv).

The committee now seeks the names and addresses of the former students of "Darchei Noam", and they are asked that they send (their correspondences) to R' Efrim Klein, 614 Avenue J, Brooklyn, New York, 11230, telephone: 338-9378.
