The Cemetery Project

CT-MA-RI

Thanks to Rabbi Edward Cohen, the Museum of Family History can now offer you information on tens of thousands of burials in Jewish cemeteries in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The most complete list of burials is from Connecticut. The Massachusetts list is comprised mostly of cemeteries in the western part of the state. A link to a searchable database for many cemeteries in other parts of the state is listed on the Massachusetts page. Please see the Connecticut-Massachusetts-Rhode Island Cemetery Directory for a list of cemeteries that these names pertain to. Also note that no photographs are available for any of these gravestones, but information such as name of deceased, dates of birth and death and possibly age at death, maiden name, name of spouse, and name of parents is available (when listed on the gravestone.)

Feel free to contact the museum at postmaster@museumoffamilyhistory.com if you find a surname of interest on this list and wish more information on a particular burial.
