  An old theatre house in Warsaw, though not necessarily one that where Yiddish plays were performed.  
  You are listening to an excerpt of a song sung in the Warsaw theatre before the advent of World War II.
The songstress is Liza Barska Fischer who used to act and sing in the Yiddish theatre of Warsaw.
The song is "Wieg Lied von Joschke Muzykant," i.e. "Lullaby from Yoshke the Musician."
