He acted in Paris, in a dramatic circle with the "Culture League." He was a fine recitator. He acted in "Maske," and in the "PIAT" Theatre he participated in major roles in the plays "Azef," "Bunt in oysbeserungs-hoyz," Bergelson's "The Deaf Man," Leivick's ""The Poor Kingdom," and "Chains," Sholem Aleichem's "The Gold Diggers," and "Dos farkhishufte shnayderl," and in Peretz's "In polish oyf der keyt" and "Joel the Fiddler."

He especially produced their creative schemes such as "Joel the Musician" in ""Joel the Fiddler," as "Melamed" in "Dos farkhishufte shnayderl," and in Ziskind Lev's play "In strayk fun di shniter."

In 1941 E. was put into the "Beaune-la-Rolande" camp (France). From here he later was deported to Auschwitz, where he was killed in severe suffering.
