Yosef Orenshteyn (Oren)


According to Jonas Turkow, IN 1926-7 he was placed in the leadership role of the societal Yiddish theatre in Krakow. O. was taken into the troupe that had originated in Przemyśl.

Turkow mentioned again that O. had participated in the last production of "Dorfsyung" in the Warsaw Ghetto, where he too had perished at the hands of the Nazis.
