R. was the wife of actor Khayim Polanski, and she acted together with him in Lodz, afterwards across Kovno, Lithuania, Lettland (Latvia) and Estonia and again in Lodz.

When the Nazis were attacking Poland, she and her husband were found in the "Baveglekher State Yiddish Theatre," which had its base in Slonim.

When the Hitlerists captured Slonim, and everyone there was led into the ghetto, they were both deported from there and there she was killed.

R. was a fine character actress.
