                       "Once a Kingdom" is being published exclusively online by the Museum of Family History with the permission of the Estate of the late Martin Boris. Boris was born in New York City and attended New York University and Long Island University. He was the author of three novels and numerous articles on various subjects. This was his first biography and is the only known biography of the renown actor and impresario Maurice Schwartz.  Before his passing in 2000, Boris was involved in various other local activities, such as conducting  the Literary Roundtable for Nassau Community College,  and serving as the Victim Impact Panel Coordinator for the Long Island chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
