SIMON AND GERTRUD SILBERMAN
Dresden, Germany

Simon Silberman was born in 1891 in Lodz, Poland. He was the son of Mendel and Machla-Fajga (nee Warszawski) Zylberman (Szibrnik), and was the grandchild of Hirsch Lajbus and Tauba Zylberman (Szibrnik) (Ha'Kohen).

Simon moved to Dresden, Saxony, Germany from Poland where he married Gertrud Fleischman in the year 1919. They had twin boys named Zigbart and Harri. The family lived in Dresden, Germany. Simon and Gertrud's children immigrated to Palestine in the year 1935. Simon and Gertrude were exterminated in the Shoah in Auschwitz in 1943.
 
 

FELIZITAS SILBERMAN

Felizitas was born in 1927 to parents Leo (Leibus) and Roza (nee Semmel) Silberman. She was a student.

Her father was born in Lodz, Poland in 1895. Like Simon shown above, he was the son of Mendel and Machla-Fajga Zylberman (Szibrnik) (Ha'Kohen). He was the grandchild of Hirsch Lajbus Zvi and Tauba Zylberman (Szibrnik) (Ha'Kohen). As did his brother Simon, Leo too moved to Dresden, Saxony, Germany, where he met and married Roza Semmel.

The entire family perished in Shoah in Auschwitz in 1943.
