THE LIPOWICZ FAMILY

Left to right: Henry, father Yossel, Judy, mother Nechama Milewicz-Lipowicz and Solomon Lipowicz
 
All but Solomon emigrated from Poland before World War II began. Yossel and Nechama changed their surname to Lipoff and moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Yossl and Nechama's son (my grandfather Abraham Lipoff, not pictured here) came to the United States first, and then brought over his entire family at great sacrifice to him and his wife and children.  He was a very brave and courageous man.
