The inscription from back of photo reads "I am giving (you) my portrait
in eternal memory," i.e. so you will never forget me--Radom-14 Apr 1919.
This photograph was forwarded afterwards with the following message: "I
wish the children an enjoyable trip and that they shall be healthy and
strong, and for my brother-in-law to experience the feeling of pride
that his mother did not live long enough to enjoy. Let my brother-in-law
and sister stand proud and I send many wishes that they grow up joyfully
and live long enough to enjoy many proud occasions.--from me your sister
