THE DARDENELLES
Constantinople, Turkey

The Dardenelles is a narrow strait that was the scene of fighting between the Allies and the Ottoman Empire.

"Quaint sailing vessels in the Bosphorus, outside Constantinopole Harbour.  In the background can be seen the city, with its numerous Mosques and Minarets."
