Aleichem-Sholem

According to B. Gorin in 1903, this was traced to the the play, "Solomon Koos".

This is probably about Jacob Gordin's play "Solomon the Wise", which after about 1899-1900 was performed in New York through Jacob P. Adler.

The mix-up of the name from the play and author and was probably done due to it, which was the play the its true name, as property? of Jacob P. Adler, not a disguised (or masked) play.
