According to Ophandlung in "Dyen" (Number 47, 20 November 1870) on 27 October 1870, there was staged in the Alcazar Theatre in Warsaw B.'s drama "Yudis" in four acts with songs.

The production was ostensibly announced as German, but really one would perform it in Yiddish.

The play was acted the history [hulfrnus] and Yehudit.

In the [oybndermonter] newspaper there was published the contentof the play, a review about acting and a characterization of the public, among which one also has found many [kristn] of the high society.
