Rudolph Christian


He was director of the German theatre in "Irving Place" in New York, and when the troupe disbanded, and Maurice Schwartz took over the theatre for Yiddish [productions], K. debuted there as "R' Akiva" in Gutzkof's "Uriel akosta"; later he performed in Osip Dymov's play "Di dervakhung fun a folk".

He didn't remain on the Yiddish stage for long.
