Moshe-Leib Getlicherman

G. was born in 1897 in Warsaw, Poland.

His father was a leather haberdasher manufacturer who had a love for the Yiddish theatre and often used to take his son therein, with whom he considered to have a stronger desire for the stage.

G. broke from his studies, became known to several actors, and he left with them wandering across the "medina".

In the span of fifteen years that G. was associated with the Yiddish theatre, he acted in the Polish province.
