Mark Juwiler

 

Y. was born born on 7 December 1904 in Warsaw, Poland. His parents were home owners.

He learned in a Yiddish folkshul, then Jewish studies in the home and general studies in the middle school of Finkel.

In 1922 he was active as a member in the Bundist academy, organized and was a teacher in the Yiddish secular school in Warsaw, then was appointed through the [Landrat] of the professional unions as General-Secretary of the Central Leather Union (Tsentraln leder-fareyn).

At the end of 1926 he was appointed as a manager of the Yiddish Artists Union in Poland and held the position until 1932.Through the time of his [amtirn] performance, the attempt of a directory of Yiddish actors themselves and cooperative troupes, staged with conflict(?) and later with the liquidation of him among the Yiddish Actors Union in America and the Yiddish Artists Union in Poland(?)
