K. was born in 1919 in Vilna, Polish Lithuania.

Her father was Moshe Karpinovitsh, the theatre impresario.

She learned in Sofia Markovna's gymnasium. At the same time she attended a ballet school, and as a child participated in Yiddish theatre in children's roles, later switching over to roles for adults, and after her marriage to Leyb Weiner, she toured with various troupes across Poland. In 1937 they both were the chief actors in the "Kulturbund Theatre" in Danzig under the leadership of Jonas Turkow.

After the outbreak of the Second World War, when the Soviets had occupied Western White Russia, K. with her husband were taken with the ensemble from Bialystok's Yiddish State Theatre that was under the direction of Abraham Morevsky.

In 1941 she with her husband and daughter Khayele returned to Vilna, where she, during the first Provocation, perished with her entire family at the hands of the German murderers.
