Adolph Katzer


According to the actor Harry Miller, K. came to America in 1900. He was a [shanton]-singer and was a lyric tenor.

According to the actor Louis Kramer, K. may have come from Budapest, Hungary.

He performed in Vienna, Austria as a [shanton]-singer in the local German variety theatres.

In America he had participated in the Yiddish vaudeville theatres, and he acted in the Theatre Music Hall, People's Music Hall, and the Casino Music Hall. Afterwards, in general, he went back to German vaudeville theatre.
