T. was born in Balta, Southern Russia, now Ukraine. Her
father was the Kazianer rabbi.

K. passed away on 8
September 1944 in Philadelphia. Her children Louie and
Freddie were administrators and were associated with
the Yiddish theatre and later with the English theatre.
Her daughter Lili has acted
in Yiddish theatre.
