Samuel Masoff
 

He was born in 1883 in Rumania.

His father was a bookseller.

From childhood he considered the stage.

At the age of seventeen he began to act with "amateurs", and since 1903 with professionals in the troupes of Segalesco and Goldenberg.

Later he became the leader of small provincial troupes in Rumania.
