Malvina Paskevitsh
 

P. was born in Iasi, Romania.

She was the sister of Janet.

She began acting in children's roles with Itsikl Goldenberg in "Zhignitsa Theatre". [Untervaksn], she went over to the prima donna role in Mordekhai Segalesco's troupe, acting Hammerstein in Goldfaden's repertoire.

P. got married to actor Elbert Segalesko and acted for a long time in Czernowitz, later back in the "Zhignitsa Theatre" in Bucharest, also with Segalesko's troupe across various Russian cities.

During the First World War she went across to Odessa, where she acted for a certain time with her husband, got a divorce afterwards with him, and married the actor Serber.

P.'s and Segalesko's daughter, Rukhele, was educated as an actress and has acted in the Kharkover Yiddish State Theatre.
