She was the sister of Janet.

She began acting in children's roles with Itsikl Goldenberg in "Jignitza Theatre". Underworked, she went over to the prima donna role in Mordechai Segalesco's troupe, acting Hammerstein(?) in Goldfaden's repertoire.

P. married actor Elbert Segalesco and acted for a long time in Czernowitz, later back in the "Jignitza Theatre" in Bucharest, also with Segalesco's troupe across various Russian cities.

During the First World War she went across to Odessa, where she acted for a certain time with her husband, got a divorce afterwards with him, and married the actor Serber.

P.'s and Segalesco's daughter, Rukhele, was educated as an actress and has acted in the Kharkov Yiddish State Theatre.
