P. was born in 1913 in Vilna, Polish Lithuania.

He graduated from the Vilna Yiddish real gymnasium.

He was one of the directors of the marionette theatre "Meydim," for which he wrote dialogue and also operated the marionettes.

He was killed in 1941 at the hands of the Nazis.
