Ben-Tsion Roytman

 

R. was born in 19... in Kishinev.

R. toured with itinerant, half-operetta, half-melodramatic troupes. Later he acted with Sidy Thal under Sternberg's direction. He also participated in the Kishinev Yiddish State Theatre.

As Julian Schwartz said, he was an actor with [khn] and humor. He died of typhus in the Ukraine. As Khaykele Asch said, he died in 1943 in [mitlazye].

R. was the husband of the actress Lyuba Meyden (died in 1963 in Israel), who had after his death married actor Avraham Goldiner in Israel.
