Malvina Samuilov
(Molly Ferkoyf)
 

S. was born in 1900 in Iasi, Romania.

Her parents were the actors Ignats and Esther Ferkoyf.

S. in 1907 came with her mother to America where she studied in a public and high school.

As a trained soprano, S. had, under her adopted family.....

She took the name of her second husband, and in 1924 debuted onto the Yiddish stage.

In 1925 she acted as a prima donna in Baltimore.

In 1926 [she performed] in Winnipeg (Canada); afterwards she toured with various traveling troupes across America.
