Shmuliak

Sh. was a folk singer.

He began in the 1880s to sing in Warsaw in Wolf Litvak's Garden (Franciszkanska 36) together with Aaron Tager, Kafka-Dubinski, M. Chaimovitch and Max Blumenfeld, as well as with a chorus of (the late actors) Berl Bernstein, Max Goldberg, Aaron Yitzhak Tantsman and Berish Bekerman.

Bekerman pictured him as such:

"A brunette, a lovely young man, who used to catch the names of young ladies only with his smiling glance."

Sh. E. from Berish Bekerman.
