Malvina Sierotzka

S. was born on 27 August 1881 in Odessa, Ukraine. Step-sister of A. G. Kompaneyets. At the age of ten years she entered onto the stage with her brother's troupe, where she acted until she was fifteen, when she began to perform in prima donna roles as Barisova. Later S. acted as a soubrette with Fishzon; five years later she performed with members' troupes and afterwards married actor Herman Serotsky.

For several years she acted as a prima donna in Kaminska's troupe.

In 1905 S. acted in Warsaw with Rosenthal-Arnstein and afterwards in character roles, in Zandberg's Lodz's Grand Theatre. Later S. married editor Yeshayahu Uger, acting afterwards until the war, and after that retired from the stage, only performing from time to time, also for charitable events, or for holiday productions.

According to Z. Zylbercweig, also during her acting on the stage she also excelled with extraordinary naturalness. Her type, which she produced, most of the time in many operetta's repertoire, were oysgek?otn ful with life and had made believers with the frequently lekherlere phrase, which came out as she read. An odd?, lively person and intimately she had brought out onto the stage and had success in each role she made popular within the theatre world.
