T. was born in 18... in Kolomea, Galicia.

Through his wife, the actress Chana Rafalovitsh, he came into contact with the Yiddish theatre and due to his familiarity with government circles, he received a concession to act in the Yiddish theatre in the Galician province, then in Bukovina he formed a partnership with Charles Nathanson. Later they united with Itzik Mendel Bergman, who also had a concession in the Yiddish theatre for Galicia.

T. in 1902-4 was cashier for Moshe Schorr, then in the troupe of Ber Hart, and he had for a long time by himself directed with the troupe in the former Austro-Hungarian field.

After a lung illness that he had acquired during the war years, he died alone in Vienna.
