Zalmen Zagorin

He was born in 1915 in Vilna, Polish Lithuania.

Z. was the director of the Vilna marionette theatre "Meydim".

During the Soviet occupation of Vilna, the theatre became well-to-do, and he guest-starred, with huge success, across Lithuania.

Z. was killed at the hands of the Nazis in 1944, or at the end of 1943.

Sh. Katsherginski said in short:

"Zalmen Zagorin -- director of "Meydim". Estonia, 1944. In the Vilna Ghetto, his mother died."
