Avraham Zetser

 

Z. was born in Odessa, Ukraine.

He was a prompter for Avraham Goldfaden in Romania, afterwards for Naftali Goldfaden and Israel Rosenberg in Russia.

When he went over to Jacob Katzman, Z. barely knew how to write and read Yiddish and yet was an excellent prompter.
