1931-1969
 

   Zalman Zilberblat
 

Z. was born on 24 February 1899 in Bialystok, Poland. 

He studied at the Institute for Folk Research and at the university in Moscow. 

In 1920 he joined the studio of the Moscow Jewish State Theatre. 

In April of 1922 he began to perform in this theatre where he was also membership director. 

Zilberblat took part in the European tour of the Moscow Jewish State Theatre, and also in the film “Yidisher glik (Jewish Luck)”  by Sholem Aleichem.
