Yuval Rapaport
 

 

Yuval is an alumnus of the Nisan Nativ Acting Studio.

He won a grant from the America-Israel Foundation.

He acted in and played a part in producing, writing, and executing various fringe plays such as the rock opera "The Life of Gutel Butel" by Nati Ornan and "An evening of Hebrew Songs" by Pinny Tavger.

He has also performed in unique plays, among them "Pasma", based on The Song of Songs, and on the "Synagoga Project" performed in Serbia. He performed at the Multidisciplinary Arena in Jerusalem, and in Rina Yerushalmi's "Myth Project." He produced the prize-winning play "Sometimes Elephants Pass By Here," directed by Itzik Julie (Acre 2000), produced plays with the Etgar Production Team, and also performed in one of them ("Conversations With The Barman").

He performed on television in a variety of commercials, and in the series "Hamakom" (The Place).

He writes, and translates texts in a variety of styles. A member of ACUM - Composers and Authors Society, having written among other things, three songs which were put to music by Avner Dorman in his creation "Landscapes".

He writes lyrics for singers such as Yael Badash and Tzela Ahrak, together with musician Idan Green. He writes short stories on love and bachelorhood, as well as literary criticism and restaurant reviews for the websites "Bakbuk", "iWoman" and "Rest".

He has performed in the Yiddishpiel productions: "The Great Lottery," "The Magician of Lublin," "Gebirtig," and "20 Until 120."
