About Marty Levitt, from his son Dave:

This is the second show of Marty's that aired on WDNA.

On later broadcasts the songs selected get more diverse and feature many artists. I remember being backstage at the Hallandale Jewish Center and seeing the posters for upcoming or past shows. The one I clearly remember was a large picture of Geula Gill. She’s featured on this show.

You will note that Marty also announces the next dinner for the Radomer [Radom, Poland] Society. I believe they were originally in New York, and they later relocated with it’s members to South Florida.  I also remember seeing a poster advertising one of the Barton Brothers appearing in Hallandale. You can hear their version of “Nat the Rat” on this show.

If there are any questions or thoughts, please email me at levittdf@gmail.com.
