My Uncle Artie got a job with the government and moved to Washington D.C. There he met his future wife, Miriam, married, and they both raised a son and a daughter and later moved to Silver Spring in Maryland. They were a terrific aunt and uncle!

I remember all the times that Artie, Miriam and his two children used to come to Long Island for a visit. Also all the times my family reciprocated and visited their lovely home. Everyone cared for each other. We were a family!
