Letters from Szczuczyn
Letter 19:

2 February 1941

Postcard with Russian stamp and postmark
Stamped "Passed by Censor V69"

Written by Rivka Sosnowski (nee Rozental), Zelda's sister, Szczuczyn, to L. Kayman, 80 Glenferrie Rd, Malvern, Melbourne, Australia

Dear sister, brother-in-law and children,

How are you all and what is new with you? I heard that the Kayman family received a letter from you so I went there promptly to read it. Thank God that after such a long time, we finally heard from. I have written to you but from your letter I understand that you have not received mine. Maybe you would consider writing more often and perhaps even send us a photo?

Everything is normal with us. The children are at school and Yedidi is out. We are already together with the old people at Povelkes [their financial situation is so bad they have moved back to Yedidi's parent's house on Povelkes Street]. No other news. David is working, Leibl and Shmuel too have work. I wish you all good health.

From me,

Rivka
