1931-1969
 

Stella Adler

 

A. was born on 10 February 1903 in New York, America.

Her parents were the actors Jacob P. Adler and Sara Adler.

She finished public school, high school and learned for two years at New York University.

Already as a child A. started to act in her father's trope, and in the span of her career she was taken in to act with Kessler, Mogulesko, Kalich, Lipzin and Ben-Ami.

A. learned in Boleslavsky's dramatic studio in New York.

From 1920-24 she acted on the English stage together with Robert Edison, Dalburkh Blin, Louie Manne, et al.

In 1926-27 A. acted at the Irving Place Theatre, in 1928-29 at the National Theatre, and in 1929-30 at the Yiddish Art Theatre.

Specialty -- Dramatic.
