Herman Aronovitsh

 

A. was born in December 1900 in Lodz, Poland.

In his youth he came to America, where he learned in public school and junior high school.

At the age of twelve he began to act in children's roles in New York and within the province; afterwards for four years he participated in burlesque within the province.

Since 1914 he has participated in Yiddish troupes, and in 1927-28 he acted in Winnipeg's Art Theatre.
