Aneta Axelrad

 

A. was born circa 1868 in Bucharest, Romania.

When she was young she became an orphan, and she performed in the Yiddish theatre as a chorus singer. Here she became known to actor Abraham Axelrad, who married her, and thanks to him she began to act in small roles on the stage.

Thereafter as she went with her husband and daughter, the artist Bertha Gutentag, to Argentina, and on 13 August 1910 she passed away in Buenos Aires.
