Katie Blackman
(Keyla Meyerovitsh)

 

B. was born in 1876 in Dvinsk, Latvia.

She was the sister of David Meyerovitsh.

At the age of six she came to America, and while very young began her stage career as a prima donna together with S. Tornberg.

In the vaudeville period she acted in Gabel's vaudeville troupe.

B. passed away in 1912, and was brought to her eternal rest at Montefiore Cemetery in New York.
