1931-1969
 

Chaim Bromberg


A student of the Zhitomir rabbinate school, and later a rabbi from Kremenchug, he participated in a Yiddish theatre production that occurred during the summer or on 9 October 1854 in Berdichev.

He acted in the play [according to Shtiff] in "Khl in a shtetl", or [according to Dr. Sh. Veysberg] "Di almnh (The Widow)", which was staged by the students of the rabbinate school: Wolf Kemrash, Binyamin Rabinovitsh, Dovid Bohuslavsky, Moshe Sheftelzon, [Khut=cute] Posion, Yakov Taft, Moshe Nirnberg, Chaiim Bromberg, and Ber Hornshteyn. B. acted in the role of the "almnh".
