According to A. G. Kompaneyets, B. was an Odesser, a fine actor who especially excelled in "Bal tshuva".

His theatre career began by him(?).

B. was married to an actress, Roza Buchbinder.

According to Nachum Lipovski, together with Sabsey, Lipovietsky and Tsipkus, B. was a cellar singer in Odessa and later used to travel around the environs, acting in Yiddish theatre.

In 1893 he happened to travel across the villages in Kamenets-Podolsk. B. later became paralyzed and grew accustomed to begging.

According to Kompaneyets, B. passed away in Odessa during the First World War.
