Eliezer Gorielow

 

G. was born on 20 November 1890 in Moscow, Russia.

His father was a teacher.

He studied in Warsaw and completed a middle school.

After school he became interested in Yiddish theatre, and in 1919 he became secretary for the Yiddish Artists Union in Poland.

He published several articles in the [eyns-organ] and also in the periodic press, then he managed a Yiddish theatre troupe in Krakow, and in 1927 became manager of the Vilna Troupe.
