Saltshe Gutman

 

G. was born on 6 March 1881 in Lemberg, Eastern Galicia.

Her parents were merchants.

She finished a seven-class folkshul.

In 1897 she performed in the chorus of Gimpel's theatre, and after a short time began to act as a soubrette.

She married Julius Gutman, and followed the same path as her husband.
