She was born in 1861 in Iasi, Romania.

Daughter of the late famous theatre director and dramatist, "Professor" Hurwitz.

When her father founded his troupe in Romania, she began to act, and from then on she traveled together with her husband, the actor Cesar Greenberg, across the Jewish communities of Europe until in 1888 she came to America.

Here she acted for two years with the troupes, where her father and husband were participating together, and because to a cold, she was unable to act.

After a sickness that lasted for several years, she died on 18 July 1905 in New York and was brought to her eternal rest at Washington Cemetery (in Brooklyn, New York--ed.)
