Basha Liebgold


Born in Przemysl, Galicia, she began her stage career as a chorus girl in the Galician province.

After her marriage to Zalmen Liebgold, she became a soubrette, later a prima donna, and in the end she switched to comedy character roles in the Yiddish troupe (et al.) of Frances? in Czechoslovakia.

Her son Leon acts on the Yiddish stage.
