Yetta Littman
(Zilberman)

L. was born on 18 December 1884 in Zlotshev, Galicia.

Her parents were bakers.

Due to her family situation, she immigrated to America to her brother, a waiter in a restaurant where she also worked for a short period of time.

Through the initiative of Sam Ludvik she came to the Yiddish vaudeville theatre, then toured the province with the legitimate theatre, later marrying Avraham Littman and continued to act with him in the troupes which he had founded or managed.

L. is a soubrette who crossed over to character- and mother roles.

Since 1922 she has left the stage and has also performed only in special [faln].
