Tessie Meyerowitz

M. was born in 1891 in Manastezhisk, Galicia.

At the age of fifteen she came to America where she became known to David Meyerowitz, married him, and entered into Yiddish vaudeville together with him. Later M. acted in the legitimate theatre, for a certain time also with Thomashefsky and Regina Zuckerberg.

In 1927-28 M. acted in her husband's non-union troupe in Winnipeg.
