Miriam Orleska
 

 

O. was born in Warsaw.

While in school she became known as a declamator, and in her last school year in the gymnasium, she participated as "David" in David Herman's production of Asch's "Mitn shtort".

Aftercompleting the gymnasium A. attended the pedagogical institute and secretly learned in the Polish dramatic school with Khranievetski and Bednortshik and afterwards with Zelverovitsh. In 1919 A. performed in the Vilna Troupe in Warsaw, in which she has acted until now.

Specialty: Dramatics.
