Betty Segal
(Glikman)
 

S. was born in October 1887 in Iasi, Romania.

Her parents were the actors Jacob and Ethel Glikman.

She acted in children's roles, and at the age of thirteen, switched to adult roles within the troupe of Segalesco.

After acting for sixteen years as a prima donna in operettas, she changed in 1918 in Kiev to soubrettish roles.

In 1920 she came to Poland and afterwards went back to Rumania, where she acted in the troupe that her husband, Boris Segal, directed with his partner.
