In 1917 S. became a union member, then played for six seasons with Anshel Schorr in Philadelphia, then one season with Julius Nathanson in Boston, a season at the Polly Theatre in Chicago, in 1926-9 performed at the Yiddish Art Theatre, and in 1929-30 played in Philadelphia. S. was a member of the Union’s executive [committee?].
